Quietest of Days

Scottish evergreen woodland meets an old deciduous tree-line above a broken drystone wall.

This Aberdeenshire landscape caught my heart on a quiet October morning. Almost noon, the winter fog still hung in the air, keeping the rough grasses wet. The wind didn’t blow and the birds were not singing.

A day for reflection.
